The Monnaie de Paris has unveiled a new collection of coins featuring the Hôtel national des Invalides and Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées. The silver coins included in the collection incorporate selective plating in gold and black rhodium for a dramatic effect.

The collection is part of a series that pays tribute to UNESCO world heritage sites. From 2014, the series has shifted focus to the famous sites of France on the banks of the Seine in Paris.
