Despite New Zealand’s lacklustre appetite for commemorative coins, one Kiwi company is making a mint from exporting these overseas.

Increasing international demand has enabled New Zealand Mint to craft a special niche for itself in the design, production and sale of commemorative coins.

Its team has just packed an order of 3000 silver coins for a Russian bank, which commemorates the corronation of Russia’s Alexander II.
