Although the coins were invented in the seventh century BC in Asia Minor, not reached the Iberian Peninsula to more than four centuries later

In money has now become the entity that dominates everything. Without exception. Gone was the barter as a means of survival, to manage with the most varied forms of payment: banknotes, checks, cards, computer operations or, of course, the ever present coins. But why they are called ” coins “?, what were the first to use?, when and how they came to the Iberian Peninsula? Or when they became the symbol and essence of our economy?
