It’s been quite a year of new coins from all over the world, with the introduction of great numismatic and coin-collecting programs and many popular series that have remembered anniversaries and events such as the ones which took place during the First World War.

The Monnaie de Paris has issued its 2015 Great War Christmas Truce Proof Coins as part of an ongoing series honoring the centenary of World War I. The design comes in a five-ounce silver version, which costs €435 and has a mintage limit of 500 pieces, and a 1/4-ounce gold issue, which costs €480 and has a mintage limited to 1915 coins.
