U.S. Mint Issues New Silver Eagle Allocation and Shawnee Bullion Coins

The U.S. Mint has allocated 1,045,500 American Eagle Silver bullion coins to be sold to authorized purchasers this week. As 45,500 coins from last week’s million-coin inventory were not sold, they’ve been added to a new batch of one million coins. Today the Mint has also begun selling Shawnee National Forest 5 oz. silver bullion coins, the first 5 oz. America the Beautiful issues of 2016.

One-ounce Silver Eagles have sold 5,954,500 pieces so far this year, while American Eagle Gold bullion coins have sold a total of 124,000 ounces across 1-ounce, 1/2-ounce, 1/4-ounce, and 1/10-ounce options. American Buffalo 1-ounce gold… Full article at the source>
