United States Mint to Participate in the American Numismatic Association’s New Orleans National Money Show

WASHINGTON, May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The United States Mint announced today that it will occupy booth #645 at the American Numismatic Association’s National Money Show May 9 -11, 2013, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

The show is a great opportunity for collectors to purchase their favorite United States Mint products over the counter.  Some of the items that will be on hand include American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins; assorted bronze medals, including First Spouse Four-Medal Sets and bronze duplicates of Congressional Gold Medals; 2013 Girl Scouts of the USA and 5-Star Generals Commemorative Coins; and sets, bags and rolls, and coin covers that contain 2013 America the Beautiful Quarters® coins and Presidential $1 Coins.

In addition, collectors will have the opportunity to place orders for two new products, the 2013 Happy Birthday and Congratulations Sets, as well as the highly anticipated 2013 American Eagle West Point Two-Coin Silver Set, which goes on sale May 9 (a set will be on hand for viewing).

J. Marc Landry, the United States Mint’s Acting Associate Director for Sales and Marketing, will host two coin forums during the show.  These interactive forums will give attendees a chance to share their ideas about U.S. coinage and learn about the bureau’s other coin programs and initiatives.
