It’s been far too long since I wrote about the Carson City gold market. Other than an analysis of CC double eagles which I wrote in October 2013, my last effort about this subject was a report on the Battle Born collection which I published in August 2012.

In the 1980’s and the 1990’s I was probably the single foremost buyer of high-end, important gold rarities from the CC mint.
